About me
Hiya! How are you?
I'm Juanma, and I am an English and Spanish teacher from Spain, though I am currently based in the UK. I love languages, so I speak Spanish, English and a bit of Japanese. I love going for beach walks and reading novels.
I love speaking English and Spanish because it makes me feel alive, so I want you to feel the same way about these two beautiful languages!
I strongly believe in the communicative approach, which means that you will speaking a lot in my lessons! Yes, there will be room for grammar and vocab, but you'll learn both of these in context.
When it comes to qualifications and experience, I have been working in this field for the past three years, and I am CELTA and FELE certified. Thanks to my experience and qualifications, I have come to realise that students learn by doing: you have to use the language if you truly want to master it. This is what my lessons are all about! You learn in context, you produce language, you make mistakes, and I will give you feedback. This will lead to steady progress!
