I have taught since 2017. I began my teaching in the Spain. I taught in large classrooms of about 25 to 30 students. I started out teaching students in grades 1 to 6. Soon after I started teaching private lessons to all age groups and at the same time I worked in English Academies. There I started teaching adults that were new to English as well as adults that were going to try and get there C2 level certificate. I wanted to do more so I went and obtained a 120hr TESOL Certificate so I can show future students that I really teach them. I later began teaching online to groups of young students then I quickly began to get adults as well. I have taught online through various platforms to various students from all around the world. Through all of my teaching I have gain insight into the best way of teaching. Currently I feel that having a student centered style really helps both the student and me the teacher get the most out of the lesson. It encourages them to reach their goals regardless if it is a class, group or 1:1 setting. It also shows that their education is being tailored to them and gives them a better feeling about their learning. Lastly, I believe that doing cross-curriculum activities brings an additional to the class because they can still learn English and gain some side knowledge as well.
