I have been teaching English in person and online for the past three years. I have worked as a translation tutor, translating students' coursework from Spanish to English, and have worked teaching English on other platforms to students of all ages. During this time, I have gained plenty of English teaching experience by working with a variety of students and helping them to achieve their goals. I have helped students study for their IELTS exams, assisted with interview preparation, enhanced business English confidence, and helped children gain an interest in learning English.
I am a patient teacher that encourages students to gain confidence and make as many mistakes as possible in order to correct their verbal communication. I believe English students want to become clear and confident communicators of their knowledge. I aim to encourage students to express themselves in written and verbal formats and help them to develop their communication capacities. I aim to use discussion and create a friendly and open environment in my classes and try to always demonstrate how I would answer my own questions.
